do you believe causes students to fall behind academically? If you are selected
for the 2011 Teacher Recruitment Pool, how confident are you in your ability to
close the achievement gap in your classroom? What will you do to ensure that
all of your students are on track and learning? (Limit: 550 Words)
Answer suggestion:
Students fall behind academically either due
to external or intrinsic reasons. When the encouragement at home is not
sufficient or environment is not conducive to growth of the individual, then it
may result in failure.
It may also result in failure if the student is not
having confidence in themselves or if the preparation for the exams is
inadequate or if the person is not having required intelligence or knowledge to
follow the concepts asked.
I am 100% confident that I can close this gap
from success to the distance away from success and bring the students to
achieve success and surpass all obstacles.
I will keep a check of the academic progress,
allow parents and the rest of the teachers to be part of the teamwork in
bringing up students success level and encourage the student to reach their
highest potential.
